IT Asset Management Analyst

TEKsystems has an immediate need for an IT Asset Management Analyst for our customer in Phoenix area to support our customer IT Hardware.

This would be a 3-4 month contract.Skills : Desktop, ServiceNow, Inventory management, Asset management, Hardware, Troubleshooting, ITIL, Inventory, Asset inventory, Support, customer service orientedTop Skills Details : Desktop, ServiceNow, Inventory management, Asset management, Hardware, Troubleshooting, ITILDescription : The IT Asset Specialist 1 supports the receipt, distribution, inventory, and overall disposition ofInformation Technology & Services equipment, including but not limited to computers, servers,monitors, and related IT consumables.

The role involves maintaining real-time reports on currentinventory levels, conducting quarterly inventories of all IT stock, and performing tasks according toestablished policies, procedures, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications : Inventory Management : Keep IT asset inventory stocked, organized, and accurately accounted forusing automated systems (ServiceNow).

Reconcile ordered hardware, software, peripherals, printers,monitors, laptops, and tablets against what has been received.

Apply property tags to all equipment perstandard operating procedures, log all equipment disbursement to employees, and annotate equipmentdecommissioning in the system of record.

Asset Tracking : Maintain a current inventory of all IT assets, including their location and responsibleindividual. Assign cost centers for all assets and annotate any fixed assets (CAPEX) for tracking andreporting.

Manage hardware stock levels and identify re-order points based on current stock andforecasted demands.Lifecycle Management Compliance : Ensure compliance with lifecycle management processes for all ITassets including procurement, receiving, distribution, and decommissioning.

Assist management withprocess improvement initiatives to enhance the quality, timeliness, and performance of lifecycleprocesses through improved tools, communication, and data analysis.

4.Coordination and Communication : Act as a point of contact for internal departments and externalvendors to ensure requirements are understood and equipment is properly ordered, billed, deployed,tracked, and inventoried.

Support for Endpoint / Desktop Services : Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and inventorymanagement of IT assets for IT&S Endpoint / Desktop Support Services personnel at remote sites.

Ensuretimely equipment delivery and inventory accountability for Support personnel.Strong attention to detail; skilled in organizing, managing, and evaluating complex inventory anddistribution processes.
