Job Description
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining warehouse operations including inventory, equipment and appearance.
What your day may look like
- Maintains general warehouse appearance including policing outside the building.
- Maintains inventory numbers accurately throughout the month to help minimize loss.
- Assists Warehouse Manager by informing when products are low and disposing of damaged inventory safely as required.
- Maintains forklift maintenance and service schedule.
- Assists Warehouse Manager in monitoring mileage and required service on delivery vehicles.
- Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
- Reliable and regular attendance is expected.
Education and experience needed for this position
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse is preferred.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
Other skills that will help you succeed
- CDL license or the ability to obtain.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds (based on the location's needs) is required.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Strong math and reading skills.
Your work environment and the physical aspects of the job

The work environment for this position is that of a typical warehouse and distribution environment where the noise level is usually moderate to loud and occasionally very loud.
In this position, the employee regularly works near moving equipment / mechanical parts and could be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards and a risk of electrical shock.
This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You will be regularly required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
