Germanna Community College is a two-year public institution of higher education in the Virginia Community College System.

The Dental Assisting Department at Germanna Community College is currently seeking didactic and clinical adjunct professors for face-to-face teaching assignments to serve in the following areas :

Dental Materials, Dental Science, and Chairside Assisting II . This role includes didactic instruction in dental materials, dental science, and externship supervision.

The position will work in coordination with the dentist faculty member who is delivering restorative dental services. Adjunct faculty may be required to oversee simulated and clinical instruction of students assisting.

KSA's / Required Qualifications

• CDA from the Dental Assisting National Board and a Bachelor’s degree
• Complete Growing with Canvas and TOPS 2.2 prior to teaching (will be provided by the college)

Additional Considerations

• Prior teaching experience
• Work experience in the field
• Experience with online teaching
• Experience with or willingness to learn artificial intelligence tools

Operation of a State Vehicle No Supervises Employees No Required Travel You will be required to travel to some college locations and to various clinical locations in the area.
