About The Role
Following the successful acquisition of CoorpID and Blacksmiths, it’s an incredibly exciting stage of the Encompass journey.
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Director to help our client expansion (both existing and new) specifically in Tier 1 Banking.
This is primarily a new business sales role; the successful candidate will have SaaS sales experience selling into Tier 1 Banks across the US, have previously built their own territory, and overachieved on targets.
We are looking for someone to join an ambitious team and manage the complete sales cycle from identification to contract.
Collaboration is key to our success and the success of this role, so working closely and aligning sales management, pre-sales, marketing, product, consulting, and delivery teams to ensure success every step of the way.
The Business Development Director will be responsible for the following duties :
- To achieve new business revenue targets within a predefined territory
- Create, nurture and manage your sales pipeline
- Be coachable, work to a structured induction program and sales methodology
- Maintain an excellent level of market knowledge and become a trusted advisor
- Develop strategic account plans in your assigned territory
- Accurate reporting and full Salesforce utilization
- Be an ambassador for the company at any client-facing engagements
- Utilize associated Encompass sales tools, processes, and methodology
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A target buster, you have proven achievements in software sales in an enterprise SaaS role, focused on selling to the Banking industry
- Successful experience in a 100% new business focused role, building a territory with Tier 1 Financial Services
- Proven track record of generating leads and realizing new revenue across your named accounts
- Demonstrable consultative sales approach
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with experience of dealing at C-level
