MATERIAL HANDLER WAREHOUSE ONSITE
Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for managing the daily processing, stocking, and shipping of incoming commodities from various courier services such as UPS, DHL, Federal Express, and USPS.
This includes handling returned items, refurbishing telehealth equipment, and ensuring orders are processed and shipped accurately.
They also participate in inventory counts and oversee the movement of materials within the facility. Additionally, they may be involved in maintaining production records and employee records.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Coordinates and expedites the flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments following production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' priorities.

Review production schedules and confer with department supervisors to determine required or overdue material and locate it.
Requisition material and establish delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated material availability.
- Arrange for in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules, and with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation to various departments, and examine material delivered to production departments to verify if the type specified.
- Monitor and control the movement of material and parts along the conveyor system using a remote-control panel board. Compute the amount of material needed for specific job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes and using an adding machine.
- Compile a report of quantity and type of material on hand, move or transport material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truck.
- Compile perpetual production records in order to locate material in the process of production, using manual or computerized systems, and maintain employee records.

Work Environment
Work is performed throughout the facility, that range from a clean environment to hot, cold, drafty, and poorly lighted.
The possibility of trips, falls, scrapes, cuts, bruises, or injury are present in the day-to-day work of the position. Work requires stocking supplies in the primary inventory area as well as numerous secondary inventory points throughout the two facilities.
Work requires maintaining a clean environment while performing tasks that can produce dust or other pollutants while transitioning between environments.
Contractor Personnel are required to maintain OSHA standards and compliance. Employees must comply with safety & health precautions and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
Education and / or Experience
Education : High School Education or equivalent.
Experience : The Materials Handler is required to have skills or the ability to be trained to operate various warehouse material handling equipment (MHE) to include, but not be restricted to the following : stock chasers, electric cars, stretch wrapping machines, pallet jacks, rate shop systems / shipping systems, dollies, hand trucks, electrical powered stand up forklifts, order fulfillment systems, mobile scanners.
Requires Tier 1 Background Investigation (BI).
