Job Responsibilities
Responsible for front desk duties to include answering and assisting with all incoming phone calls to the HRM front desk, receiving, logging, processing, and routing / distributing employment related documents to appropriate HRM personnel.
Provide service excellence to employees, students, and the general public (in-person, by telephone, and / or e-mail). Maintain HR admin e-mail account to include responding to and / or forwarding requests to necessary parties in a timely manner.
- Review and process temporary / adjunct employment agreements and complete temporary / adjunct on-boarding actions, to include criminal background checks, new hire documents, Federal Form 1-9 compliance, and correspondence to new employees, hiring personnel, etc.
- Accurately key employee information and data into the Colleague software system, and organize / scan employee records / files.
Log and distribute personnel action requests / documents. Upload new employee information into SC DSS New Hire portal. Log and complete all employment verification requests, to include Public Student Loan Forgiveness.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to think critically, multi-task, and take initiative. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Ellucian Colleague.
Demonstrated experience with process improvement, preferably in a Human Resource environment. Ability to work well with others, and exhibit a welcoming and friendly demeanor.
Willingness to assist individuals and direct them to the most useful resources in response to inquiries.
