About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist licensed in the state of Florida to join our growing team.
This is a part-time, fully remote, contract position where you'll be able to maintain a flexible schedule and set the hours that work for you.
As a remote therapist, you will provide virtual therapy services to clients, helping them navigate their mental health journeys.
You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
What You'll Do
Provide individual counseling and support services to clients via secure videoconferencing on our telehealth platform.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Utilize evidence-based practices to address a variety of mental health conditions.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company policies and regulations.
Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients.
Foster a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients through effective communication and empathy.
Educate clients about mental health issues, coping strategies, and self-care practices.
Encourage active participation in treatment goals and empower clients to take ownership of their mental health journey.
What You'll Have
Current and unrestricted LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Clinical Psychologist or equivalent license in Florida.
Independent licensure and any other credentials at hire or negotiated for employment.
Minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapy services.
Continually maintain CEUs for licensing, certificates, or credentialing.
Active NPI number, Medicare number preferred.
Eligible to participate in federally funded healthcare programs, as required by the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Ability to work remotely and manage a flexible schedule.
Technology savvy and excited about how technology can improve medical care.
Reliable, high-speed internet, a computer with webcam and microphone, familiarity with teleconferencing tools (e.g., Zoom) and a private space in your home or office to welcome clients virtually.
Excellent interpersonal skills, grammar, attention to detail, and efficient at writing medical information at a patient level.
