Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement strategies to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings to advocate for students' mental health and well-being.
Requirements :
To be considered for this School Psychologist role in California, you must meet the following criteria :
- Hold a valid California School Psychologist credential.
- Possess a Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
- Strong commitment to supporting students' social and emotional needs within an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in the Los Angeles, CA area.
