The Compensation Associate is key in supporting the Total Rewards team in providing support to the Compensation Department through administrative coordination, answering basic Compensation inquiries, and providing support to all Compensation work.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintain and organize Classification Specifications and Job Description bank.
- Maintain and update Compensation Templates and assist with Job Description edits, template migration.
- Participate in Job Cataloging project.
- Assist with website maintenance.
- Respond to simple inquiries and escalate to Compensation Analysts and Compensation Manager as appropriate.
- Runs and format reports that are routine and ad hoc in nature.
- Assist with simple hiring and / or offer requests under team guidance.
- Assist with information gathering and basic Compensation analytics.
- Set up Compensation elements in UKG and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform routine and ad hoc audits to ensure accuracy in processing Compensation changes to include but not limited to minimum adjustment, mass market and / or equity adjustments, title changes, and job code changes and make appropriate corrections.
- Take meeting notes and follow-up with appropriate parties on Compensation action items.
- Participate and provide administrative support in compensation projects to include but no limited to, annual salary administration, Union increases, creation of adjustment letters and total rewards statements.
- Support Compensation Tickets triaging as needed.
- May assist with Salary Survey timelines and payments and assist with data gathering from simple to moderate complexity.
- May maintain and update Compensation procedure documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- 2 years of experience in Human Resources or administrative coordination that utilized moderate level of office skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- UKG and SharePoint experience desirable.
- Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others at all levels of organization.
- Initiative to improve processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, political affiliation, cultural backgrounds, lifestyles and sexual orientations, and treat individuals with respect and dignity.
