Bus Driver Clark County
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Consistent positive attitude, modeling the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility
- Punctual, reliable, creative, and a self-starter
- Consistently demonstrate positive interaction with all children; talk to them and treat them with dignity and respect
- Consistently demonstrate positive discipline; teach and redirect rather than scolding or reprimanding them; firmly and consistently enforce the rules
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT :
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely drive a bus for short / long periods of time
- Ability to respond to emergency situations
- Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to the activity
- Noise level HIGH
- Ability to see
- Ability to hear
- Ability to project voice across a distance in normal and loud situations
STATUS : Part Time, Non-exempt
STARTING SALARY : $12.50 / hr
