Theincumbent should be able to perform all of the following functionsat a pace and level of performance consistent with the jobperformancerequirements
Administer medication to inmates / residents under thedirect supervision of the Health ServicesAdministrator.
Obtain, monitor, record and report vital signs andpatient's condition asneeded.
Prepare patients for physical exams, procedures
treatments.
Assist nurse / physician with physical exams, procedures
treatments.
Assist nurse with preparing and maintaining a varietyof reports and logs; to include filing, alphabetizing andlabeling.
Qualifications :
High school diploma, GEDcertification or equivalent or greater.
Must possess a currentcertification from an approved formal nursing assistant program orequivalent program with written consent from corporate Director,Health Services and be CPR certified.
Must possess appropriatecertification or licensing in the state where practice occurs.
A valid driver's licenseis required.
Minimum age requirement : Must be at least 18 years ofage.
