Corporate Immigration Paralegal Job Description
LHH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Immigration Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years of in-depth business / employment immigration experience to join our client’s dynamic and collaborative team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive preparation of immigration cases and maintaining effective communication with clients.
Responsibilities :
Drafting and Preparation : Create drafts, perform revisions, and prepare detailed forms, documents, letters, exhibits, and other related materials required for primarily employment-based immigration processes.
This includes managing the documentation for PERM Labor Certifications, H-1B visas, and L-1 visas.
Case Management : Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of immigration cases, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
Maintain and update case files and client records in our immigration case management system.
Client Communication : Act as a primary point of contact for clients and employees, providing updates and responding to inquiries via email, telephone, and through our case management system.
Ensure clients are kept informed of case progress and any issues are addressed promptly.
Legal Research : Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and ensure compliance with current immigration laws and regulations.
Stay updated on changes in immigration policies and procedures.
Collaboration : Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure a coordinated approach to case management.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices.
Documentation Review : Review and proofread all documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission. Ensure all supporting materials meet the necessary legal standards and requirements.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of in-depth business / employment immigration experience, with a strong track record of preparing and managing PERM Labor Certifications, H-1B visas, and L-1 visas.
Education : Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field such as legal studies, political science, or international relations.
Skills :
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to clients.
Analytical skills to assess and synthesize information and make informed decisions.
Attention to detail to ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
Technical Proficiency : Experience with immigration case management systems is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
