Summary
Looking for a cook to plan and prepare breakfast, lunch, and snack for a daycare center with children ages 6 weeks-12 years.
The center uses the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's Child and Adult Care Food Program.
Duties
- Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for the center follow the State of Wisconsin guidelines.
- Follow State of Wisconsin Food Service Guidelines (such as sanitizing, serving, dishwashing procedures, and equipment upkeep).
- Maintain DPI menus, forms and necessary paperwork.
- Maintain supplies and equipment including ordering / shopping for necessary food items.
Requirements
- Prior experience cooking large quantities.
- Training on kitchen sanitation, food handling, and nutrition.
- Experience with the CACFP food program or a similar program.
- Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk, lift and move up to 25 pounds, use hands and fingers, and reach with arms.
