Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their executive team as a Manufacturing Operations Manager. In this role, you will oversee welding, machine shop, fabrication, paint, and fiberglass departments, ensuring that operations run efficiently, safely, and in adherence to quality standards.
About the Role :
Leadership & Management : Lead and manage teams across multiple departments, setting performance goals, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Provide ongoing coaching and development to team members to ensure continuous growth and success.
- Operational Oversight : Manage daily operations to meet production schedules and quality standards. Monitor workflow and optimize productivity across all back shop departments.
- Quality Control : Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to maintain high-quality standards. Implement quality control processes and conduct regular inspections to drive improvement.
- Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Keep abreast of industry trends to drive competitiveness and innovation within operations.

Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. Equivalent experience considered.
- Experience : 7-10 years in manufacturing or industrial operations, with 3-5 years in a leadership role. Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.
- Skills : Strong leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with manufacturing software; SAP experience preferred.
