ABOUT THE ROLE
Despite the fact they’re one of the largest construction companies in the US, this is a brilliant opportunity for someone who’s business minded, operationally strong and financially intelligent to join their smallest division and help grow, scale up and manage the business.
The division currently has 8 people in it, and they specialize in commercial interiors (self-performed), projects ranging anywhere from $500,000 $10M.
The projects could be healthcare, commercial offices, aquariums, or education.
The role will involve :
- Managing and developing staff, including completing performance evaluations.
- Developing and overseeing sales strategies and conducting formal review of the sales prospects along with participating in pursuits, meetings, presentations, etc.
- Providing leadership in risk evaluations, contract negotiations, fee, and pricing decisions,
- Establishing and maintaining procedures to protect the financial assets of the division,
- Making sure projects are delivered to a brilliant standard.
REQUIREMENTS
It’s important you have at least 8 years of Project Management experience working for a self-performing general contractor, working on interior fitouts projects, ranging in value between $500,000 $10M.
I am looking for someone who has a Bachelor of Science, ideally in a construction or engineering related course. Finally, I am looking for someone business minded, operationally clever, and someone who has a strong understanding of commercial risk & profits.

You will be rewarded with a salary ranging between $110,000 $140,000 + great benefits on top. They’ve also offered raises to there staff every year for the last 30 years, except for 2009.
My client will also pay for relocation costs if this needs to be done.
