What You’ll Do
As a Demand Planner you will be responsible for all forecasting activities associated with customers and products (units / revenue).
Creates and maintains forecast models by SKU for key accounts, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and customers
You will :
- Analyze factors impacting demand for mobile accessory products (e.g., category trends, promotions, competitive products, seasonality, retail consumption, indirect channels), and build statistical models that quantify the business environment.
- Manage demand forecasts based on trends, seasonality, and promotions while factoring in channel inventory, in-stock %, and life cycle of products.
- Lead collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment meetings with key accounts.
- Partner with Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing, and customers to collectively make decisions that minimize the negative financial impact.
- Achieve forecast accuracy, inventory, service level, and customer in-stock % targets.
- Communicate material shortages and delays to appropriate customer contacts.
- Lead S&OP meetings for key accounts.
What You’ll Need to be Successful
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, sum-ifs, conditional formatting, lookups).
- Strong problem-solving skills : ability to analyze situations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to present ideas in an easy-to-understand engaging manner.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented; able to prioritize effectively.
- Able to adapt to changing job requirements.
- Able to execute responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Able to complete projects under tight deadlines, even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignments.
- BA / BS degree plus 2+ years of supply chain experience or 5+ years of supply chain-related experience.
- Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
- Demand Planning system (Anaplan) experience is a plus
