Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our multifamily construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale multifamily residential developments from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, from planning to completion.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
- Provide leadership and guidance to on-site construction teams.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on multifamily residential construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale multifamily projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
