What We Are Seeking

We currently have an opening for a Senior Transportation Environmental Planner for our Transportation division to assist with transit and environmental initiatives.

The position is designed to provide candidates with opportunities to grow their technical, leadership, and client responsibilities within the STV Planning Team.

The position can be based in our Los Angeles or Oakland, CA offices. Key responsibilities include :

  • Supporting on multidisciplinary transit and environmental projects, including serving in Task Lead roles
  • Leading preparation of feasibility studies, alternatives analyses, and other transportation planning documents
  • Leading preparation and review of NEPA and CEQA technical reports and documents
  • Supporting project quality initiatives including quality plan development, quality assurance reviews, and providing guidance to project management teams to comply with project requirements
  • Working with practice and office leadership on client development, business development, and industry participation

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in planning or similar curriculum (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience
  • Project management experience with small to mid-level projects
  • Experience working on NEPA and CEQA documents
  • Experience working on transit and transportation projects highly preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • AICP, LEED AP, LEED GA, and / or ENV SP desirable

Compensation Range :

$102,974.00 - $137,299.00
