The Insurance Sales Professional achieves this by marketing, reviewing needs, and closing sales with current clients or new prospects.

Responsibilities
The Insurance Sales Professional position primary areas of focus are :
- Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
- Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
- Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management.
- Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email, text, and potential client lists.
- Setting appointments for financial needs reviews with our in-office specialist.
- Growing revenue by successfully discovering clients needs for additional lines of insurance.
- Seeking referrals from current client base to solicit new business prospects.
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
Further responsibilities include :
- Assisting clients with billing and policy questions.
- Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified time-frame.
- Delivering a high quality customer experience consistent with company operational standards and practices.
- Building existing relationships by ensuring a positive client experience.
Requirement
Additional qualifications to consider :
- Must be willing to obtain insurance licenses; already possessing required licenses a plus.
- Prior sales experience a plus.
- Driven and goal-oriented individual.
- Be capable of handling customer rejection.
- Must be awesome at opening doors and getting appointments from a cold start.
- Confident self-starter with the ability to stay focused and proactive while working independently.
- Effective written and verbal communication / interpersonal skills.
