Job Summary
The Department of Computing Technology in the School of Computer Science at Marist College invites applications for part-time faculty positions for the 2024-2025 Academic year.
Minimum Qualifications :
Candidates should have a master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience. Evidence of teaching experience is important, and strong written and oral communication skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications :
Ideal candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following areas : software development and object-oriented programming, data communications and networking, systems analysis and design, information technology and management, information systems architecture and policy.
Industry or consulting experience and / or experience teaching online is a plus. As our programs host a diverse population, the proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment is highly regarded.
Additionally, wed programming, cybersecurity, machine learning and data science skills are preferred.
