About the Role :

The Senior ABAP Developer will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of complex ABAP programs in the S / 4HANA environment.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex ABAP programs in the S / 4HANA environment, including Reports, REST APIs, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF), and Web Dynpro applications.
• Utilize Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP) to create efficient, modular, and scalable solutions.
• Implement and manage user exits, BAdIs, BAPIs, and enhancements using the enhancement framework.
• Develop and optimize ABAP programs leveraging ABAP for HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), Fiori Elements, and ABAP 7.5 syntax.
• Implement modern SAP programming techniques, including ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP), to develop RESTful APIs and enhance system communication.
• Drive the use of Fiori apps and work with Fiori My Inbox to improve user experiences.
• Develop, implement, and support SAP Workflows, integrating with other SAP modules to ensure business process automation.
• Optimize ABAP code for performance, ensuring efficient execution in the S / 4HANA environment, following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using S / 4HANA architecture.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with key SAP modules, including R2R (Record to Report), OTC (Order to Cash), P2P (Procure to Pay), PL2PR (Plan to Production), and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
• Provide leadership and guidance on SAP best practices, system integration, and performance tuning within the S / 4HANA landscape.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in ABAP development, with a strong focus on S / 4HANA and Fiori technologies.
• Proven expertise in developing ABAP Object-Oriented Programming solutions.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP for HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP, ABAP 7.5 syntax, and Fiori elements.
• Strong experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP).
• Proficiency in SAP workflow development and integration with Fiori My Inbox.
• Deep understanding of SAP S / 4HANA architecture, including system optimizations and best practices.
• Solid experience with SAP modules and their integration points, including R2R, OTC, P2P, PL2PR, and EWM.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on delivering high-performance solutions in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
