We are seeking a cause motivated Vice President of Business Development to play a key role in driving the growth of TalentSmartEQ’s client base.

This role involves developing and executing comprehensive strategies to attract and retain new clients while leading our emerging market expansion.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales leadership (learning & development / professional services / training), exceptional strategic thinking skills, and a proven track record of success.

Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning : Responsible for developing and implementing new client acquisition strategies by and leveraging marketing efforts, sales engagement and enablement tools, social selling, and outbound prospecting strategies to build a healthy pipeline of net-new business.

Identify new market opportunities and emerging trends to expand the company's client base. Provide accurate forecasting as to when business will close, and when the TSEQ work will be delivered for the client.

Market Analysis : Stays informed of market and industry trends, latest sales strategies, and is proactive in developing their sales acumen.

Utilize data-driven insights to refine acquisition strategies and optimize outreach efforts. Work closely with the marketing team to design and implement effective campaigns and promotional activities.

Client Relationship Management : Effectively articulates TalentSmartEQ’s mission and unique value proposition with prospects and new client partners.

Develop and execute personalized client engagement plans to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty. Leverages relationship and insight with the client to assess client needs and determine desired learning outcomes.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting : Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client acquisition and retention.

Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team on progress, challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications :

Graduate business degree (or progress towards) or bachelor’s degree and commensurate experience required.

Required Skills :

  • 5-10 years proven consultative sales experience with corporate clients.
  • Prior experience in Learning & Development space, Professional Services or Training preferred.
  • Dedicated sales hunter with a strong acumen for actioning MQL’s, working inbound leads, prospecting, cold calling, and outbound sales messaging.
  • Demonstrated skills in targeting and prospecting for new clients.
  • Demonstrated ability in successfully managing clients throughout the buying cycle.
  • Exemplary sales prospecting and hunting skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to work with and credibly present to diverse levels of a prospect’s personnel, including senior executives in both formal, informal, and virtual settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to advance large-scale account opportunities, resulting in revenue generation.
  • Ability to gather and assimilate data quickly (through data sources and conversations), making connections that gives a client deeper insight and increases their readiness to purchase.
  • Flexible, adaptable with clients, colleagues and organization needs.
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven organizational and planning skills.
  • Skilled in Windows PC environment, Microsoft, and CRM data management.
  • Familiar with sales engagement and acceleration tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Outreach.io / Salesloft.
  • Up to 25% travel or as required based on business.

Compensation : : Base salary and commission plan with OTE up to $250,000. (50 / 50 plan)
