As a cashier, you are the last person to have contact with the customer. This role is key to ensuring the customer has had an exceptional shopping experience.

Summary of the position :

• Provide superior customer service
• Accept customer applications for the company Perx Card
• Process all forms of payment
• Follows proper bagging techniques
• Adheres to all state and county regulations regarding age-restricted products
• Process EBT, WIC, coupons and in store discounts appropriately
• Maintain a knowledge of weekly sale items
• Good knowledge of product locations to accurately respond to customer questions

What we look for in you :

• Part time afternoons / evenings (3 : 00 pm start time) with at least one weekend day availability;
• Reliability;
• Grocery and / or retail experience preferred;
• Exceptional communication skills;
• Highly motivated individual;
• Team player with the ability to work independently at times;
• Ability to multitask;
• Focused, efficient with attention to detail;

The ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods of time
