Commercial Signage Project Manager

Great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager for a signage company. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the commercial signage industry, and an extensive knowledge of the variety types of signage.

Position Overview :

As an Experienced Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering successful signage projects, including electric, vinyl, channel letters, monuments, cabinets, illuminated / non-illuminated, digital message boards, etc.

You will leverage your industry expertise to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.

Project Manager Responsibilities :

  • Project Planning - Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and design professionals to establish project objectives, timelines, permits, budgets, and scope.
  • Resource Management - Allocate resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to meet project requirements efficiently.
  • Vendor Relations - Source and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring quality materials and services.
  • Project Execution - Oversee the installation, fabrication, and production of signage projects.
  • Quality Control - Implement strict quality control measures to ensure that the final signage products meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Budget and Cost Management - Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
  • Project Documentation - Create and maintain project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Team Leadership - Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring that all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.

Project Manager Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the signage industry, with an extensive knowledge of the different sign varieties.
  • Strong understanding of signage materials, production processes, and installation techniques.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools. A PMP is not required, but would increase commpensation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Leadership skills to inspire and guide project teams.
