Title : Insurance Agency Owner
Compensation : Base $1,500 / month + commission (average $2,500-$3,000 / month+ until graduation of program)
Requirements :
- 2+ years of experience in insurance sales and customer service
- Has an active all lines Property and Casualty License in the state of Michigan OR an active Life, Accident, and Health license in the state of Michigan
- Must have a desire to be an agency owner in 4-12 months
- Willingness to learn and be coached
Benefits :
- Assigned mentor agent who will onboard you and supply hands on training towards agency ownership
- Completion of the protégé program allows candidates to open their own Farmers Agency, waiving the $100,000 fee
- Assistance with completing Property and Casualty License and Life License
- Hybrid work schedule available for qualifying candidates
Day to day :
- Make out bound phone calls to provided leads in order to generate more business
- Ensure policies sold and managed in the agency meet the underwriting principles.
- Sell at least one policy a day (60-80 outbound phone calls)
- Record client interactions and transactions, detailing client inquiries, requests, concerns, comments, and any actions taken.
- Participate in training programs provided by the agency or district to gain hands on experience into agency ownership
