An elite trading firm in Austin is looking to bring on an Electrical Engineering Lab Technician to their team. You'll be responsible for the design, build, and testing of PCBs and other electrical components designed with the lowest possible latency in mind.
This position is ideal for fresh grads or electrical engineers with less than 3 years of experience!
Responsibilities :
- Assist in designing, manufacturing, testing, and repairing the firm's hardware systems
- Conduct testing procedures and perform repairs
- Experience with post-silicon bring-up and debugging
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers to ensure efficient and testable system designs
- Soldering and 3D / CAD design proficiency
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or 2+ years of experience working in a lab setting
- Experience testing and debugging and high-density, high-speed PCBs
- Required : experience working in a lab setting and lab equipment (TDRs, sampling scopes etc)
- Experience with Python or C++
This position is based in the firm's Austin office, 5 days in person.
