Pay : $21-25 per hour
Job Description :
Concentra is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at our Ft. Collins, Colorado location.
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients and supporting our healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Patient Interaction : Welcome patients and obtain medical histories, verify patient information, and ensure a comfortable and efficient experience.
- Clinical Assistance : Assist providers during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are available and ready for use.
- Ancillary Testing : Perform various ancillary testing and tasks as ordered by the Center Medical Director, including PFT, EKG, injections, audiograms, blood draws, and more, as per certification.
- Medication Dispensing : Dispense medications within the scope of practice as ordered by treating providers, adhering to state regulations and guidelines.
- Administrative Support : Assist the front office team as needed, ensuring smooth operation and patient flow.
Qualifications :
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in performing clinical tasks such as EKG, injections, and blood draws
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
