Position Overview
Successfully complete assigned projects for the meeting of goals and objectives as outlined in Pro-Tec's Vision Traction Organizer (VTO).
Reports directly to the Field Operations Manager.
Roles
- Be a champion of the Pro-Tec Experience through adherence to the methodology and installation standards
- Support the installers for proper system installation as required
- Communicate effectively with customers, Lead Technician, PM's and all other stakeholders involved in the project
- Support the project team in addressing all technical details that come up during the course of project completion
Responsibilities
- Perform the functions of Technician while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
- Ensures quality control standards are met while performing installation tasks outlined in the project scope of work
- Support the project installation team with all aspects of the install as needed and outlined in the scope of work.
- Coordinate with the Lead Technician on all work-related tasks needed to support the completion of the project
- Maximizes ConnectWise to provide accurate record keeping, submitted on time and complete, including but not limited to :
- Provide daily project updates to the Lead Technician.
- Provide daily time entries and record the number of devices installed
- Provide system documentation updates or redlines to device schedules, floor plans, and panel buildouts as the project progresses through the various installation stages.
- Update and maintain all relevant site data information during the various stages of the project
- Ensure all documentation is updated electronically
- Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines while performing the duties of a technician
- Adhere to all Pro-Tec best practices and installation standards
- Follow all customer site rules without exception
- Check in and out daily with all customer site contacts identified
Requirements
- Excellent communications skills, outstanding written and verbal communication
- Effective, polished interaction with customer to gather information quickly; explain technical requirements to all parties involved in project completion;
communicate next steps and status; and inspire confidence
- Demonstrated cross-team collaboration and critical thinking
- High attention to detail, able to problem solve logically and think critically
- High school education or equivalent, post-secondary training in technical field, system programing is required.
- Manufacture's certification training in at least one of the systems listed below. Multiple is preferred

- Strong computer skills and networking experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Maintain DOT medical certification
- Completed and passed a background check, including driving record check.
- Perform all continuing education required by JACT
- Maintain PLT license at all times
