Job Description
Bryn Mawr Trust, a WSFS Company, provides locally managed and collaborative wealth management solutions, including a broad array of planning and advisory services, investment management, trust and estate planning, brokerage and investment services to individual, corporate, and institutional clients through multiple integrated businesses.
The Trust Officer will be responsible for daily administration of personal trust accounts of moderate to high complexity, profile, and / or volume;
providing high level service delivery to Delaware Advantage trust and agency clients, advisors, intermediaries and other qualified referral sources and distribution channels.
The incumbent will manage personal accounts and relationships; perform all tasks necessary for proper risk-adverse administration of trust, investment management, custody, or IRA accounts.
- This position entails internal and external (client) communications, including participation in client meetings; knowledge, understanding and application of fiduciary principles;
- knowledge of securities processing and clearing; knowledge of trust & accounting systems and technology to support recordkeeping and payment history;
and interface with Trust Operations Service Partners and other internal parties.
Job Responsibilities :
- Knowledge of Delaware trust laws and statutes; Adherence to client selection process.
- Professionally communicate with clients, advisors, referral sources, and internal associates; Maintain close communication with clients, outside advisors, and internal associates by telephone, email, and correspondence
- Manage personal trust accounts and relationships, including those of high-net worth individuals; Compliance and legal projects as required;
- Support other duties that may arise from time-to-time
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required; CTFA or matriculating toward, or equivalent designation preferred.
- Minimum of five (3) years’ experience in trust or trust-related financial or other client focused services.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SEI Trust 3000 or similar trust accounting systems.
- Must possess an intellectual curiosity and passion to succeed, analytical and problem-solving skills, detail orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
- Skill set requirements include seasoned experience with trust & accounting recordkeeping systems; trading systems; technical expertise in accessing trade and confirm information from third party websites;
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
