POSITION SUMMARY-
We are seeking a skilled software developer to implement a new workflow in our in-house developed LIMS system. This role is pivotal in automating lab processes and integrating cutting-edge technology into our lab operations.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
149; Collaborate with lab analysts and scientists to enhance lab functionality
149; Gather requirements and streamline workflows
149; Develop and maintain the codebase for our in-house LIMS application
149; Ensure successful deployment within the AWS environment
149; Conduct comprehensive testing before production deployment
149; Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and support post-deployment
REQUIREMENTS / PREFERENCES
Education Requirement(s) :
149; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field required
149; Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred
Skill & Competency Requirements :
149; Experience :
o 3-5 years of relevant work experience
149; Technical Skills :
o Proficiency in Java and Spring for web application development
o Experience with relational databases (Oracle & PostgreSQL)
o Strong testing skills using JUnit and Mockito
o Familiarity with version control tools (Git & Maven)
o Experience with front-end development frameworks (AngularJS, React, Node.js)
149; Cloud and Deployment :
o Functional and non-functional testing expertise
o Proficiency with AWS services (S3, Fargate, Lambda)
o Experience with REST APIs
o Agile software development team experience
o Experience directly interacting with business customers to gather and understand requirements
o Proficient troubleshooting and debugging applications
o Experience deploying applications across various environments (i.e. dev, test, prod) in collaboration with cross-functional teams
o Experience with continuous delivery platforms (Jenkins, AWS CodeDeploy / CodeBuild)
