JOB SUMMARY
The materials manager is a specifically trained individual employed by Hamilton Medical Center who is responsible for overseeing the daily purchasing process in the Hamilton Ambulatory Surgery Center.
This person also assists with obtaining quotes, evaluations and purchase of new equipment. This role requires oversight of biannual inventory performed.
Maintains knowledge of OR procedures and processes. Requires a high degree of proficiency in the operation of office equipment to include computer skills with current software for materials processing.
Includes frequent contacts with sales representatives and medical staff requiring tact and / or discretion.
