Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in energy electric distribution operations, or relevant experience
- Experience must include one or more years of experience with Electric Power Distribution and applicable electric utility work practices and safety policies
- Certification(s) in the field of Safety & Health such as the ASP, CSP, or OHST
- Prior experience in an electric utility safety training or compliance role including providing guidance, leadership or formal / informal instruction to operational staff
Responsibilities
- Provide safety consultation and serve as a safety and health resource for multiple power distribution facilities
- Assist with incident investigations, tracking, and reporting
- Schedule and assist with conducting safety orientations, safety training, health training and monthly / quarterly safety meetings
- Assist with safety and health inspections and audits
- Assist staff with project support related to health and safety issues
