Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid role with flexibility for some work from home.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining client relationships, identifying clients' insurance needs, and enhancing client relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Skilled at identifying and analyzing client exposures encompassing all aspects of risk, ideally with 3-5 years’ experience developed within agency or broker environments, and able to effectively negotiate with underwriters on coverage / placements / service issues.
- Understanding and carrying a working knowledge of all lines of commercial insurance as well as a familiarity of the surplus lines marketplace is desirable.
- Ability to create underwriting specifications and submissions with relevant accompanying data on property and casualty insurance coverage.
- Familiar with carrier rating software and agency management programs
