THE ROLE
Under the leadership of the VP, Finance will oversee the Accounting and Finance functions for assigned properties. Specifically, this position will oversee the fiscal support functions of Legends Hospitality, LLC in accordance with current Federal / State regulations and generally accepted accounting principles.
Further, this position is to provide financial management and analysis. This position will oversee, monitor and analyze capital and operating budgets, including monthly financial analyses, monthly forecasting, annual planning, cash forecasting, and ad hoc business analyses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work directly with the VP of Finance to prepare operations analysis and reports.
- Partner with venue General Managers to ensure AP, budgets and finance procedures are accurate and submitted on time.
- Manage all aspects of the day-to-day accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general ledger.
- Support the Business Plan Process and ensure tie in with the strategic direct and tie in to the annual budgets.
- Daily reconciliation of cash and credit card transactions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial forecasts for comparison to budget.
- Oversee the inventory process and perform in-depth cost of goods analysis.
- Coordinate preparation of monthly financial statement.
- Ensure a timely and accurate month-end closing process.
- Analyze monthly balance sheet and P&L figures to prepare comments and identify performance trends.
- Coordinate preparation of annual budget for review by internal and external parties.
- Build solid working relationships with business and department leaders.
- Support of all Teams in the analysis and evaluation of various business opportunities to ensure we are driving profitability.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels.

- Bachelor's degree and five to eight years of experience; preferably in the hospitality industry.
- BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office software required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail essential.
- Must be highly analytical, have the ability to think creatively, and to understand complex business dynamics.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of NCR Quest and Counterpoint point of sale systems a plus.
- Must be flexible to travel and work extended hours due to business requirements including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Follow and encourage your team to follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
- Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the company’s risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you.
COMPENSATION
Salary Range : $80,000-$90,000
