Summary
The Project Coordinator will collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
Serving the Enrollment, Marketing, and Communications teams, the individual will work as a liaison between inter- and intra-departmental offices to ensure teams are aware of the deliverables needed to meet deadlines.
In addition, they will work with the AVP to help implement community-based strategies, sharing necessary information across the campus community.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Maintain workflow processes and establish clear lines of communication with key stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status & changes.
- Establish and maintain project management software.
- Provides oversight and management of budgets and account reconciliations.
- Manages administrative requirements as needed for major marketing projects and initiatives.
- Works with team to develop and maintain Marketing Department Policy and Procedures documentation and communication.
- Manages and maintains contracts with third-party vendors including but not limited to contractors, freelancers, and other marketing-related agencies.
- Maintains an active list of all third-party vendors.
- Works with vendors to ensure quality campaigns are launched in a timely and efficient manner.
- Works with members of the Campus Store, Events & Conferences, and Marketing & Communication to develop outline workflows and a plan for instructional documentation for each area.
Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years experience serving as a project manager or organizing projects
- Experience with Project Management Software systems.
- Bachelor's degree. Preference in marketing, business administration, or related field of study.
- Experience in developing and tracking workflow processes and operations to improve efficiencies in departmental deliverables and metrics.
- Experience in dealing with multiple deadlines and tasks executing tasks under tight deadlines.
- Ability to build and enhance relationships campus-wide.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Ability to assess problems and situations to identify issues, needs and solutions.
- Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed for special events.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office 365, as well as other software platforms and technology as needed.
