The Role

The position reports into the Chief Financial Officer and will work closely with several different stakeholders. The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to :

  • Manage the relationship and performance of the outsourced Fund Administration team, including development and reporting on KPI’s and oversight of key controls, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Responsible for delivery of high-quality Quarterly NAV Packs to key internal Stakeholders including development and production of control packs and detailed analytical review of Fund level and investor level movements, BVA analysis etc.
  • Manage and oversee the Fund Administrators services pertaining to Fund rebalances on initial and subsequent Fund closes
  • Responsible for the delivery by the Fund Admin of CAS, ILPAs, Quarterly Accounts and Investor Reports following internal stakeholder sign off and reporting to Investors in line agreed timelines.
  • Responsible for the delivery of ad hoc and bespoke reporting to Investors, (monthly, quarterly and annual)
  • Manage and oversee the Fund Administrators services pertaining to Capital Calls, and Distributions.

o Manage interaction with Subscription line Lenders including calls or repayment of Subscription line facility.

Managing the statutory audit process (Interim and Final) to ensure all stakeholders are meeting timelines, being the central point of contact and providing support where necessary, ie

o Managing the allocation of responsibility between Sky and Fund Administrators for PBC lists and queries.

o Ensuring KPMG adheres to timelines for work and financial statement comments

o Ensuring the Fund Admin responds timely to allocated queries / PBC

o Managing financial statement delivery by Fund Administrators

  • Manage the relationship and performance of the outsourced Taxation services (Federal and State Taxes) provided by PWC, including reviewing PWC output and development, and reporting on KPI’s
  • Manage the US Tax compliance process Including any Quarterly and Annual Federal Returns and State Tax Returns.
  • Manage Tax aspects of new investor onboarding, supported by PWC where necessary. Manage performance of regulatory process by outsourced Fund administration eg CIMA, FACTA CRS FAR etc
  • Assist in the design of accounting policies, as required.
  • Get involved with various projects as they arise.

The Person

The candidate should be / have :

  • Have a passion to build and expand the Company’s successful fund management business and a desire to grow with the business
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with experience working in industry with 4+ years PQE, ideally in an Investment Manager or Fund Administrator in Private Equity / Private Credit
  • Experience of managing a small team
  • Experience of working through complex accounting issues and identifying solutions
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to write clear, concise reports on technical accounting and other matters.
