About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Job Specialty : ER Job Duration : 14 weeks Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years required;
the unit accepts first-time travelers License : GA or Compact license must be in hand Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS Must-Have : Experience with Trauma, STEMI, Neuro, CHF, Kidney Failure - Dialysis, Abdominal Pain, Behavioral Health Job Description : Work within the Emergency Department with a patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics.
Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 : 4.- Utilize systems including Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR.- Meet scheduling requirements, with a maximum of 7 days for requested time off (RTO);
blocked scheduling not guaranteed.- Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.- Work major holidays as assigned, with varying requirements based on the number of holidays within the assignment period.
- Floating within the facility may be required.- Adhere to full compliance requirements to ensure on-time start; delays in compliance can push back start date by two weeks.
- Submit compliance documents by the specified deadline.- Provide two supervisory references, preferably from a manager or higher.
- Candidates must be flexible and open to other locations, units, and shifts.- An orientation is provided, consisting of 13 non-billable hours.
