Position Overview :

We are seeking a Porter / Restaurant Porter to join our bakery team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, surfaces, and workstations in accordance with health and safety standards
• Wash dishes, utensils, and bakery tools, ensuring they are ready for use
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bakery’s front and back-of-house areas
• Assist the bakery team with cleaning tasks to ensure a seamless workflow
• Help manage waste and recycling procedures to maintain an orderly and efficient workspace

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a kitchen or bakery setting is a plus but not required
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness
• Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from management
• Punctual and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility
