Full Job DescriptionCommercial Safe and Lock Inc is seeking skilled and motivated Commercial Door Technicians to join our team.

As a Commercial Door Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial doors, frames, and hardware.

You will collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to ensure that all installations are completed on time and meet the highest quality standards.

This role requires a strong ability to test, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues related to doors, frames, and hardware.

From high-security keys to access control systems, we offer a wide range of services to meet all your security needs.Responsibilities include but are not limited to : -Install, repair, and maintain commercial doors, frames, and hardware according to company and industry standards.

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.-Collaborate with the project manager and other team members to ensure timely and high-quality installations.
• Test and troubleshoot doors, frames, and hardware to diagnose and resolve any issues.-Maintain accurate records of all installations and repairs, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and comprehensive.
• Relay any additional client needs or requests to the office staff for follow-up and completion.The ideal candidate should possess : -Strong knowledge of commercial doors, frames, and hardware.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.-Strong communication and customer service skills.-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.-Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.Experience : -2+ years experience required-Must be proficient with hand and power tools including drills and impact guns-Knowledge of safe and vault service and repair.
• Familiarity with finish door hardware and door hardware installation.License / Certification : -Certification in door hardware installation is preferred.
