SUMMARY :

Merit Services is seeking an IT Trainer to join our client’s dynamic team in Sherbrooke. As an IT Trainer, your responsibility will be to create and provide training programs that will equip our team with the essential skills needed to effectively utilize technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Engage with key stakeholders to evaluate training requirements and create training initiatives that are in accordance with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Create and present captivating and participatory training sessions focusing on a range of IT subjects such as software applications, systems, and tools.
• Develop educational resources such as instructional materials, slideshows, and reference materials to facilitate learning.
• Organize training sessions using a range of techniques, including face-to-face workshops, online classrooms, and digital learning platforms.
• Assess the efficiency of training initiatives and enhance them by considering feedback from participants and their achieved learning results.
• Deliver personalized coaching and assistance to employees, aiding them in resolving technical problems and enhancing their skills.
• Keep yourself informed about the latest advancements in technology, current trends in the industry, and optimal methods in order to incorporate them effectively into training materials and delivery.
• Work closely with experts in the field and IT professionals to guarantee the precision and applicability of training resources.
• Continuously monitor and oversee employees’ skill advancement, offering ongoing support and guidance whenever required.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
• Proven background in the field of IT training, technology training, or a related position, providing instructional courses to individuals or teams.
• Extensive understanding of various IT subjects, encompassing software applications, systems, and tools.
• Outstanding abilities in delivering presentations and facilitating discussions, creating an engaging and motivational learning experience.
• Smartly rephrase : Mastery in the principles of instructional design and methodologies for adult learning.
• Knowledge of e-learning platforms and multimedia authoring tools.
• Expertise in effective communication and interpersonal abilities, including the capacity to modify training techniques to cater to a wide range of audience needs and preferences.
• The ability to remain patient, understanding, and driven to educate and empower others.
• It is preferred to have certifications like CTT+ or CPLP, which are relevant to the field of technical training and learning and performance.
