What you will do :
- Ensure oversight of the administration, maintenance, and service of the Authority's Public Safety Communications environment.
- Make sure systems run efficiently, optimized, and utilized correctly.
- Interface with all Authority Operating units to meet their radio communications needs.
- Manage representation and communication with stakeholders including Motorola, FCC, partner agencies, and vendors for policy, issue resolution, and emergency communications.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, or equivalent professional experience, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 7+ years’ experience in systems maintenance, operations, end-user support, with expert-level knowledge of 800MHz trunked and conventional radio technology.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in data communications protocols, IBM compatible PC's, common peripherals, and Motorola systems (XTS / XTL / APX radios, CPS, UASI radios), with expertise in 800 MHz trunked system configuration.
