This Nurse Manager role is for a 16-bed residential detox facility in Lynnwood, WA, focused on supporting patients through acute withdrawal management.
The position requires leadership skills to oversee a multidisciplinary team, supervising 10-12 RNs and LPNs while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Schedule / Shift
- 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.
- Pass down at 7 am or 7 pm.

Overview of Responsibilities
- Oversee a multi-disciplinary staff of 22 and directly supervise 10-12 RNs and LPNs.
- Manage admissions of 80 to 100 patients monthly, with an average length of stay of 5-7 days.
- Ensure nurses are supported on the floor, assist with medication passes, discharges, and other clinical duties as needed.
- Manage billing discrepancies and communicate with insurance companies.
- Occasionally update orders and handle scheduling.
- Participate in clinical trials and research with the University of Washington.
- Fill in for staff as needed during shifts.
Requirements
- Experience in acute withdrawal management (detox).
- 6 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Familiar with withdrawal management processes, including ASAM, COWS, and CIWA applications.
- 2 years of supervisory experience in nursing, with at least 6 months in a chemical dependency detox or treatment unit.
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license in Washington State.
- Emergency room experience or at least 5 years of nursing experience.
- Nurses with at least 3 years in WHPS will be considered (with approval by WHPS before hire).
