Our Ultra Optics Division of The Walman Optical Company is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Western Territory of the U.

S. and Canada . Ultra Optics is the industry leader in premier quality coatings and the equipment used to apply scratch-resistant coating to ophthalmic lenses.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our TEAM! Job Summary Sales, installation and service of Ultra Optics within a defined sales territory.

Establishment of goals, development of strategy, and organization of personal activity to achieve Territory short-range and long-range business objectives.

Developing and maintaining Ultra Optics account base and relationships within the sales territory. Collecting, understanding, and utilizing business and industry information to improve ability to service customers.

Demonstrates highest level of integrity and discretion to protect the business interests of The Walman Optical Company and our customer base.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Utilize professional selling skills and best practices to produce budgeted machine and chemical sales quota within defined sales territory.
  • Utilize experience, factory training and / or Walman internal support to achieve highest quality installation and service standards.
  • Continually review processes and effectively communicate suggestions to build customer equity, increase sales, improve profitability, simply jobs, eliminate non-value added tasks and reduce costs.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Four year College Degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience
  • Experience / training in outside sales required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong communications skills required...A positive attitude with focus on customer satisfaction is a must.
  • Position requires regularly scheduled and unscheduled trips, including international travel to Canada. Approx. 35% to 50% travel with over-night requirements.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid passport and driver's license, with insurable driving record that complies with The Walman Optical Co. Motor Vehicle Policy.
