CAD Designer

• Preparedetailed engineering design including 3D designs for roadway andhighway projects in a digital delivery environment working in closecoordination with project engineers and designers as a member of amultidisciplineteam.
• Preparedetail plan sheets plan sets and exhibits with an emphasis onpresentation and consistency while following CADD Guidelines / BestPractices for multipleclients.
• Developand documentquantities.
• Workingwith a team to implement refine and develop CADD standards andQuality ControlProcedures.
• Workwith OpenRoads Terrians including LIDAR derivedTerrians.
• Assistin the digital delivery work of projectteams.
• Performuniform setup and configuration of Bentley CADD products for usersthroughout thecompany.
• Acquiresunderstands and applies technical and professional knowledge andskills to perform job effectively efficiently and safely.
• Establishesenforces and drives policies that promotes Company vision andculture to achieve company objectives.
• Strongbusiness acumen. Offers excellent communication and presentationskills in an organized professionalmanner.
• Abilityto nurture and maintain key relationships internally and externallythrough communication and diplomacy.

Requirements

• Associatedegree or equivalent in CADD / Drafting Engineering Technology 3DModeling and / or Bentley certifications. Comparable experienceworking in BIM Gaming Surveying or other 3D Model Industry will beconsidered.
• 5years of experience as a CADD Designer or CADD Manager in the CivilEngineering field working with modeling software is a significantadvantage.
• Experiencewith OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation PowerGeopak is required.AutoCADD Civil3D 3dsmax Unreal Engine Revit and Rhino3d experienceare all aplus.
• Experienceor the ability to learn to create realistic 3D renderings andanimations using Bentley s rendering solutions through theconversion of CADD data is a significantplus.
• Proficientin MS Word Outlook andExcel
• Strongcommunication and organizational skills with the ability to workwith CADD users across multipleoffices.
• Experienceworking on largescale infrastructure projects such as roadwayinterchanges airports and corporate buildings for DOTs and localgovernments is a significantplus.
• Havingan open mind and desire to grow learning new processes software andskills.
• Onoccasion develop complex 3D models layouts drawings and designsfrom written or verbal specifications from rough or detailedsketches ordrawings.
• Interactwith Bentley support to escalate and resolve any softwareissues.
• Implementand ensure a high level of competency accuracy and efficiency indigital projectdelivery.
• Availablefor occasionaltravel.
