ELECTRICIAN KAIYUH SERVICES, LLC
JOB OVERVIEW
Kaiyuh Services, LLC (KSL) is seeking an Electrician to join our team. This position performs preventive maintenance procedures on the Yuma Desalting Plant water treatment equipment under the Yuma Desalting Plant contract.
The pay for this position is $24.16 and includes a Health and Welfare contribution of $7.14 per hours worked to be contributed towards the benefit plan.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Documentation of procedures through detailed preventive maintenance job plans.
- Provide assistance to Journeyman level technicians on a variety of projects.
- Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy.
- Work involves most of the following : installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment;
from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.
- In general, the work of the maintenance electrician requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
- Housekeeping responsibilities throughout the Yuma Desalting Plant.
- Perform incidental tasks related to the position as well as various duties, as assigned, to support the overall objectives / goals of the team while maintaining a positive attitude.
ABOUT YOU
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of two years of experience in an industrial maintenance electrical environment, or completion of an apprenticeship program or technical trade school.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and process diagrams is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills, including verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
- Basic analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Promptness and timeliness in completing assigned tasks.
- Ability to pass a background and drug screening.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The majority of work is performed in a field setting with some work in an office setting and interfaces with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
During work in the field setting, the candidate will be exposed to an environment typical of the southwest desert. The candidate may also at times be required to work around chemicals typical of a water treatment facility.
