The Economic Analyst position reports directly to staff economists and supports the economics department in modeling and forecasting.
This role will include analyzing data and using critical thinking skills to develop models to forecast economic indicators and interest rates, as well as assisting the economics team in day-to-day activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONISIBILITES
- Forecasts economic conditions, analyzes related date, and documents research findings.
- Calculates economic models which detail risks, sources, and decisions for management.
- Extracts data from reliable publications and economic sources to support planning initiatives, resources, and growth.
- Assess the value and analyze the risks of fixed-income securities, including bonds and other financial products.
- Research and evaluate market conditions and analyze trends to guide investors on the most significant risk factors, including credit and interest rate risk.

- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders in the organization.
Education & Experience
EDUCATION AN EXPERIENCE
- Minimum required : Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field,
- Minimum required : 0-2 years of related work experience.

- Stata, Python, SAS, SQL, Bloomberg, MS Office preferred
