DescriptionUnder supervision the Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients at PAMC as prescribed by physicians in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.

Responsible for the assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. Implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions.

The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice. Assesses, analyzes, customizes, coordinates and communicates the patient's plan of care and actively collaborate with other members of the health care team.
