Overview :
The Electronics Technician plays a crucial role in the organization by ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems.
They are responsible for diagnosing and repairing electronic faults, conducting tests to ensure equipment functionality, and maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
The Electronics Technician's work is essential in maintaining a smooth operation of electronic systems and equipment within the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair electronic faults in equipment and systems
- Conduct tests and assess performance of electronic systems
- Maintain and calibrate electronic equipment
- Install and configure electronic components and systems
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and technical drawings
- Perform preventative maintenance on electronic equipment
- Document repairs and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve electronic system malfunctions
- Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements
Required Qualifications :
- Associate degree in Electronics or related field
- Professional certification in Electronics Technology
- Minimum of 3 years experience in electronics maintenance and repair
- Proficiency in using electronic testing equipment
- Strong understanding of electronic circuitry and components
- Knowledge of soldering and desoldering techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics
- Familiarity with electronic diagnostic software
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
