Responsibilities :
The role involves greeting members and guests, managing reception desk duties, performing minor maintenance, cleaning, and securing the facility.

- Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties :
- Greet members and guests, manage membership cards, monitor access, and log information.
- Answer inquiries regarding operations and explain club policies.
- Follow emergency procedures as outlined in the operations manual.
- Schedule and process appointments using the club's computer system.
- Enforce club rules and regulations as needed.
- Handle complaints and suggestions promptly.
Facility Maintenance :
- Maintain supplies (cups, towels, toiletries, etc.).
- Perform light cleaning tasks : vacuuming, dusting, collecting towels, and refilling amenities.
- Manage towel supplies and coordinate with laundry services.
- Process sales and balance the cash drawer.
Member Experience :
- Communicate effectively and assist members and guests with patience.
- Conduct facility tours and explain pricing and enrollment processes.
- Understand and explain programs and services, completing registrations as needed.
- Assist in babysitting, after-hours services, or membership tasks as required.
Department Support :
- Contribute to newsletters, mailings, and member surveys.
- Complete other assigned duties and projects.
- Organizational Responsibilities
- Attend department meetings and remain accountable for shared information.
- Complete mandatory education and health requirements within established timeframes.
- Maintain required licenses and certifications, including current CPR certification.
- Utilize universal precautions and adhere to compliance regulations.
- Be available for overtime and additional shifts as needed.

- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum age of 17.
- Six months to one year of experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
- Ability to operate an electronic cash drawer and balance it on a shift basis.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and extended hours.
- Commitment to fitness and health, projecting a healthy lifestyle.
