Great opportunity for Contingent work as a Substance Use Disorder Psychiatrist
Personalized Nursing LIGHT House is a premier behavioral health care provider with more than 34 years of specialized addiction treatment service serving the adult population.
We offer a full continuum of care with clinical locations in Plymouth, Canton and Madison Heights. Our mission is to be an innovative and effective behavioral healthcare corporation (utilizing the LIGHT model of care), that strives for excellence clinically, as well as administratively.
Specifically, our intent is to increase client well-being, decrease addiction severity, improve the quality of client’s mental and physical health, and contribute positively to society.
All services will integrate substance use disorder, mental health and primary health care treatment in cohesive and client-centered programs.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide psychiatric evaluations to clients referred to you by our clinical team
- Provide medication reviews as necessary.
- Provide consultation to PNLH’s clinical team regarding clients.
- Maintain highest level of client confidentiality.
- Participate in team meetings and treatment planning
Educational Requirements
- Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certified in Psychiatry.
Preferred experience
- Relevant experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings
- Experience in addiction / substance abuse treatment
